El pasado 10 de diciembre de 2018, los alumnos que asisten a los cursos de iniciaci\u00f3n a la observaci\u00f3n de las aves y espacios naturales para la observaci\u00f3n de las aves, ambos en la Asociaci\u00f3n Universidad Popular de Palencia \u2013 UPP<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0conocieron de primera mano las acciones del proyecto LIFE Paludicola y a sus protagonistas.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, el 15 de diciembre, los alumnos completaron su formaci\u00f3n ornitol\u00f3gica con una jornada de campo en la que se visitaron dos humedales del \u00e1mbito de actuaci\u00f3n del proyecto, las lagunas de Boada y La Nava. En el transcurso del d\u00eda, pudieron conocer de primera mano el h\u00e1bitat del carricer\u00edn cejudo y el resto de proyectos que se han desarrollado desde su restauraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Asociaci\u00f3n Universidad Popular de Palencia<\/strong><\/h2>\n

La Asociaci\u00f3n UPP nace como resultado del inter\u00e9s de personas y\u00a0 organizaciones sociales que pretenden acercar a Palencia un Proyecto de Educaci\u00f3n\u00a0 Permanente para Personas Adultas, que permita el acceso de los ciudadanos y ciudadanas a nuevos campos del conocimiento.<\/p>\n

Dentro de las numerosas actividades de la asociaci\u00f3n, existen dos programas de ornitolog\u00eda: \u201cIniciaci\u00f3n a la observaci\u00f3n de aves<\/strong>\u201d<\/a>\u00a0 y \u201cEspacios Naturales para la observaci\u00f3n de las aves<\/strong>\u201d<\/a>. Alumnos de ambos cursos han asistido a tres charlas divulgativas: en primer lugar, sobre la importancia de los humedales esteparios de Tierra de Campos y la conservaci\u00f3n de las aves acu\u00e1ticas; una segunda sobre el carricer\u00edn cejudo y su estado de conservaci\u00f3n; y, por \u00faltimo,\u00a0 una tercera sobre las acciones del LIFE Paludicola en Castilla y Le\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
