Desde el mes de febrero se est\u00e1n desarrollando varios trabajos de mejora de h\u00e1bitat mediante la plantaci\u00f3n de vegetaci\u00f3n arbustiva perilagunar en varios humedales de la Comunidad Valenciana<\/strong>. Estas plantaciones permiten una m\u00ednima protecci\u00f3n ambiental de los humedales y la diversificaci\u00f3n de su h\u00e1bitat, medios que en ocasiones utilizan los carricerines cejudos como \u00e1reas de refugio. Estos trabajos se enmarcan dentro de la Acci\u00f3n C.4 del proyecto LIFE Paludicola, denominada \u201cPlantaciones y revegetaci\u00f3n\u201d.<\/p>\n

Por un lado, han comenzado las plantaciones de especies arbustivas en el entorno del Parc Natural del Prat de Cabanes – Torreblanca<\/strong>, para ello se han seleccionado las parcelas, se ha preparado el terreno mediante desbroces y posteriormente se ha procedido ahoyar y finalmente a plantar. Las plantas han sido cedidas por la Generalitat Valenciana a trav\u00e9s del CIEF – Centre per la Investigaci\u00f3 i l’Experimentaci\u00f3 Forestal<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0y la especies que se van a plantar son principalmente de tipo arbustivo:\u00a0Tamarix<\/em> sp., Salix alba<\/em>, Salix atrocinerea<\/em> y Populus alba<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, el pasado 23 de febrero, en el Parc Natural de la Marjal de Pego-Oliva<\/strong> se ha realizado una jornada de voluntariado ambiental con 30 voluntarios de la Fundaci\u00f3n Naturgy<\/strong><\/a>. Todos ellos han participado en la plantaci\u00f3n de estaquillas, tambi\u00e9n de especies arbustivas de sauces, tarayes y chopos, y a lo largo de un tramo fluvial de 500 metros del Riu Vedat. Durante la jornada los voluntarios han podido conocer de primera mano el proyecto LIFE Paludicola y a su protagonista, el carricer\u00edn cejudo.<\/p>\n
