You may click the link to switch the active language.<\/p><p>La <a href=\"https:\/\/fundacionglobalnature.org\/livinglakes2019\/programa\">15 Conferencia Living Lakes<\/a> se ha desarrollado entre el 7 y el 9 de mayo en Valencia y ha puesto el foco en los lagos y humedales como uno de los recursos h\u00eddricos fundamentales. La conferencia, organizada por Fundaci\u00f3n Global Nature (FGN) y Global Nature Fund, ha reunido a 200 expertos de 40 pa\u00edses que han convertido la l\u2019Albufera en el centro del debate sobre agua y cambio clim\u00e1tico bajo el lema bajo el lema &#8216;Un mundo sin humedales es un mundo sin agua&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Uno de los proyectos que el director de FGN, Eduardo de Miguel, explic\u00f3 durante las presentaciones del evento, fue el proyecto LIFE Paludicola, ya que sus acciones se desarrollan en humedales de la Comunidad Valencia como l\u2019Albufera y tienen como objetivo frenar el descenso de las poblaciones de carricer\u00edn cejudo (<em>Acrocephalus paludicola<\/em>), trabajando en la restauraci\u00f3n de estos h\u00e1bitats de paso migratorio pre y post nupcial. En el acto de inauguraci\u00f3n estuvieron adem\u00e1s el secretario de Estado de Medio Ambiente en funciones, Hugo Mor\u00e1n; el alcalde de Val\u00e8ncia, Joan Rib\u00f3; la Consellera de Agricultura, Elena Cebri\u00e1n, y la presidenta de Living Lakes Network, Marion Hammerl.<\/p>\n<p>En concreto, las acciones del LIFE Paludicola se llevan a cabo durante el per\u00edodo 2017-2020 en 9 humedales de 12 municipios de tres regiones espa\u00f1olas (Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y Le\u00f3n y Comunidad Valenciana), todas ellas incluidas en espacios de la Red Natura 2000. La iniciativa est\u00e1 cofinanciada por el programa LIFE de la Uni\u00f3n Europea y son socios de la misma la Fundaci\u00f3n Global Nature y la Junta de Castilla y Le\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Exposici\u00f3n educativa<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, los asistentes, que proven\u00edan de los cinco continentes, pudieron disfrutar de la exposici\u00f3n del proyecto LIFE Paludicola que estuvo durante los tres d\u00edas albergada en el <em>hall<\/em> principal del Complejo Deportivo Cultural Petxina, lugar en el que se celebr\u00f3 la Conferencia. Esta exposici\u00f3n se cre\u00f3 con el objetivo de acercar al p\u00fablico adulto y escolar la importancia de conservar humedales para el carricer\u00edn cejudo.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/carricerincejudo.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/palu2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-207083 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/carricerincejudo.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/palu2-1024x675.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"675\" srcset=\"https:\/\/carricerincejudo.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/palu2-1024x675.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/carricerincejudo.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/palu2-300x198.jpg 300w, https:\/\/carricerincejudo.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/palu2-768x506.jpg 768w, https:\/\/carricerincejudo.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/palu2-1080x712.jpg 1080w, https:\/\/carricerincejudo.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/palu2.jpg 1298w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>El hilo conductor de la exposici\u00f3n es el ciclo biol\u00f3gico anual del carricer\u00edn cejudo, utilizando un diario de viaje de un joven carricer\u00edn cejudo que comienza con su nacimiento en las \u00e1reas de cr\u00eda en el centro de Europa. Este diario incluye el paso en dos ocasiones al a\u00f1o por los humedales de la pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica, uno durante su migraci\u00f3n posnupcial hacia las \u00e1reas de invernada en \u00c1frica occidental y otro en su migraci\u00f3n prenupcial de regreso a las \u00e1reas de reproducci\u00f3n. Los paneles adem\u00e1s de mostrar aspectos de la peculiar biolog\u00eda de esta especie, van mostrando varias de las acciones de mejora del h\u00e1bitat que se est\u00e1n desarrollando a trav\u00e9s del LIFE Paludicola en varios espacios naturales de la Red Natura 2000.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Living Lakes<\/strong> es una red internacional formada por m\u00e1s de 100 lagos, con presencia en los cinco continentes.
