La actividad educativa no se ha detenido en la Comunidad Valenciana durante las vacaciones del mes de agosto. De hecho, el carricer\u00edn cejudo ha sido protagonista de diferentes encuentros y exposiciones, en los que los detalles de su viaje migratorio ha sido el tema principal.<\/p>\n

Por ejemplo, el s\u00e1bado 3 de agosto estuvimos en el mercado \u201ccomer\u00e7 al carrer\u201d (comercio en la calle) de Benicarl\u00f3 (Castell\u00f3n) donde pudimos ense\u00f1ar a los m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os la importancia de conservar la biodiversidad y, en concreto, los detalles del cuidado del carricer\u00edn cejudo mediante juegos y talleres infantiles. En total, entre adultos y ni\u00f1os atentos al incre\u00edble viaje del carricer\u00edn, asistieron 50 personas.<\/p>\n

Feria \u201ccomer\u00e7 al carrer\u201d en Benicarl\u00f3, Castell\u00f3n.<\/p><\/div>\n

El martes 6 de agosto, el LIFE Paludicola vol\u00f3 hasta Enguera (Valencia), donde estuvimos con un grupo de voluntarios ambientales procedentes de 10 provincias diferentes de Espa\u00f1a. Con ellos, tras la charla, celebramos un debate acerca de c\u00f3mo proteger la biodiversidad. Adem\u00e1s, fue muy interesante ya que muy pr\u00f3ximo a este municipio se encuentra un humedal que se ha visto completamente transformado por la acci\u00f3n del hombre, hasta convertirse en un espacio l\u00fadico, poco natural. Se pudo utilizar como referente para explicar qu\u00e9 es y qu\u00e9 no es un humedal, los servicios ecosist\u00e9micos de los que nos proveen y la importancia para la fauna asociada (y para el carricer\u00edn, concretamente). Los asistentes totales fueron 16, incluidos los monitores del voluntariado.<\/p>\n

Esa misma semana, el d\u00eda 8 de agosto, viajamos hasta Albalat de la Ribera (Valencia), uno de los municipios que se incluyen dentro del Parc Natural de l\u2019Albufera de Val\u00e8ncia. El contexto hizo que la convocatoria fuera escasa, solamente 2 asistentes, por lo que recurrimos a hacer una charla m\u00e1s din\u00e1mica, con mayor participaci\u00f3n por parte de las asistentes.<\/p>\n

Por \u00faltimo, el d\u00eda 20 estuvimos en l\u2019Observatori de Canvi Clim\u00e0tic de Val\u00e8ncia, donde dejamos la exposici\u00f3n un par de semanas, adem\u00e1s de dar la charla. Una charla a la que vino una persona muy especial, Pablo, un joven estudiante muy interesado en la conservaci\u00f3n de la naturaleza y en c\u00f3mo puede \u00e9l contribuir a la misma. A pesar de que a la charla s\u00f3lo asistieron 2 personas, fueron 29 quienes disfrutaron de la exposici\u00f3n en el per\u00edodo en el que estuvo all\u00ed.<\/p>\n

Mientras tanto, en Torreblanca (Castell\u00f3n) el cejudo vol\u00f3 los d\u00edas 11 y 14 de agosto.<\/p>\n

El d\u00eda 14, la escuela de verano municipal visit\u00f3 l\u2019Espai Natura con 28 alumnos, quienes pudieron conocer de primera mano el humedal del Prat de Cabanes Torreblanca y la importancia de conservarlo. Adem\u00e1s, hicieron un taller de caretas que luego pudieron llevarse a casa para no olvidar nunca a su nuevo amigo.<\/p>\n

El d\u00eda 11, realizamos una actividad espec\u00edfica sobre el carricer\u00edn cejudo, para dar a conocer la especie, su problem\u00e1tica en la conservaci\u00f3n, y las medidas que est\u00e1 tomando la Fundaci\u00f3n Global Nature para mantener sus poblaciones. Fueron un total de 52 asistentes.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, durante el mes de agosto 1.090 personas visitaron la Exposici\u00f3n de proyecto que ha estado de forma permanente en uno de los salones del l\u2019Espai Natura de Torreblanca.<\/p>\n

Por otro lado, el carricer\u00edn tambi\u00e9n vol\u00f3 durante los meses de verano sobre el Centro de Educaci\u00f3n Ambiental de la Comunidad Valenciana (CEACV). En concreto, el mes de junio se cerr\u00f3 con 791 visitantes que pudieron disfrutar de la exposici\u00f3n y recibir una charla sobre su viaje. La mayor\u00eda de ellos escolares, de 7 municipios diferentes, de las provincias de Castell\u00f3n y Valencia. El mes de julio asistieron 259 visitantes, 153 de ellos colegiales, alumnos de escuelas de verano, mientras que 106 fueron adultos.<\/p>\n

Por \u00faltimo, agosto recibi\u00f3 visitas de 52 personas, que de forma independiente decidieron acercarse al CEACV para conocerlo, y as\u00ed aprender adem\u00e1s sobre el cejudo.<\/p>\n
