You may click the link to switch the active language.<\/p><p>La Fundaci\u00f3n Global Nature est\u00e1 en una ronda de contactos con responsables de los diferentes municipios que conforman La Marjal de La Safor, con el objetivo de presentar el LIFE Paludicola y transferir el conocimiento adquirido.<\/p>\n<p>Al mismo tiempo debido a su importancia y por el inter\u00e9s de los municipios en conservarla, la idea es poner en marcha acciones similares como la recuperaci\u00f3n de actividades tradicionales como el pastoreo para el control de la vegetaci\u00f3n, realizar clareos en el carrizal como sistema de mejora del h\u00e1bitat y de la calidad del agua, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Situada en los t\u00e9rminos municipales de Tavernes de la Valldiga, Xeraco, Xersa y Gand\u00eda, est\u00e1 catalogada como ZEPA y LIC y con una superficie de 1.245 hect\u00e1reas, esta Marjal est\u00e1 considerada una de las zonas h\u00famedas litorales de agua dulce mejor conservadas en la C. Presenta muy buenas poblaciones del hidr\u00f3fito <em>Utricularia australis<\/em>, incluida en el Anexo I del Cat\u00e1logo Valenciano de Flora Amenazada, en la categoria En Peligro de Extinci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Esta marjal se encuentra situada entre la Marjal de Pego-Oliva y la Albufera de Valencia, por lo que supone un lugar potencial en la migraci\u00f3n del carricer\u00edn cejudo, contando ya con citas anteriores.<\/p>\n<p>Actualmente, estos municipios est\u00e1n en conversaciones para la creaci\u00f3n de un consorcio con el fin de gestionar conjuntamente la Marjal y dotarla de infraestructuras de uso p\u00fablico, as\u00ed como para la conservaci\u00f3n y restauraci\u00f3n de acequias y canales que alimentan el humedal.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sorry, this entry is only available in Espa\u00f1ol.
