You may click the link to switch the active language.<\/p><p><strong>La segunda campa\u00f1a de siegas de carrizo y ca\u00f1averal en la marjal dels Moros ha comenzado a mediados de enero de 2020<\/strong>. As\u00ed. la m\u00e1quina anfibia adquirida por la Fundaci\u00f3n Global Nature para el proyecto LIFE retoma en su segunda temporada las siegas en este humedal del litoral de la Comunidad Valenciana. Estos trabajos se enmarcan dentro de la Acci\u00f3n C2 del proyecto LIFE Paludicola, denominada \u201cManejo de vegetaci\u00f3n mediante siegas\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>El inicio de esta campa\u00f1a coincide con el 25 aniversario de la declaraci\u00f3n de este <strong>Paraje Natural denominado Marjal dels Moros<\/strong> el 28 de febrero de 1995. Este humedal cuenta con con 230 especies registradas, el segundo mayor n\u00famero de aves de la Comunidad valenciana, y s\u00f3lo superada por La Albufera de Valencia. Adem\u00e1s, esta marjal de unas 300 hect\u00e1reas y situado entre los t\u00e9rminos municipales de Puzol y Sagunto, es un espacio protegido en la Red Natura 2000 como ZEPA desde 1996.<\/p>\n<p>El Centro de Educaci\u00f3n Ambiental de la Comunidad Valenciana (CEACV) present\u00f3 el\u00a0<strong>Plan Director de la Marjal dels Moros<\/strong> el pasado a\u00f1o y tiene el objetivo de convertir la marjal en un espacio de mayor visibilidad y con m\u00e1s atractivos para sus visitantes. Adem\u00e1s este plan plantea intervenciones clave para solucionar los problemas de \u00edndole ambiental y social que le afectan, asumiendo que la mejora cualitativa de su medio natural se traducir\u00e1 en un aumento de su capacidad para acoger usos compatibles con su conservaci\u00f3n y generar beneficios para poblaciones vecinas.
