You may click the link to switch the active language.<\/p><p><strong>La segunda campa\u00f1a de siegas de carrizo y ca\u00f1averal en la marjal dels Moros ha finalizado recientemente<\/strong>. La m\u00e1quina anfibia adquirida por la Fundaci\u00f3n Global Nature para el proyecto LIFE comenz\u00f3 su andadura en febrero de 2018, y desde septiembre de 2019 trabaja en varios humedales del litoral de la Comunidad Valenciana en lo que constituye la tercera campa\u00f1a del proyecto. Estos trabajos se enmarcan dentro de la Acci\u00f3n C2 del proyecto LIFE Paludicola, denominada \u201cManejo de vegetaci\u00f3n mediante siegas\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Las siegas de vegetaci\u00f3n palustre de la campa\u00f1a 2019\/2020 han tenido lugar durante los meses de enero y febrero de 2020 y <strong>la superficie segada ha sido de aproximadaemnte 5,7 hect\u00e1reas<\/strong>. Esta superficie se suma a las 6,5 ha de la campa\u00f1a 2018\/2019. Al igual que la temporada pasada el material segado, es decir, <strong>el subproducto de las siegas se ha triturado para utilizarlo para compost<\/strong> en las numerosas fincas de la huerta valenciana que rodean el marjal.<\/p>\n<p>Con los trabajos de siegas en la marjal del Moros, la m\u00e1quina anfibia finaliza la campa\u00f1a de siegas en la Comunidad Valenciana. Antes visit\u00f3 los humedales del Prat de Cabanes-Torreblanca y la marjal de Pego-Oliva. A diferencia de la campa\u00f1a pasada, esta temporada la m\u00e1quina anfibia no se desplazar\u00e1 a La Albufera de Valencia porque esta no puede entrar por el mal estado de los accesos al Tancat de la Ratlla despu\u00e9s de los \u00faltimos temporales. Sin embargo, a primeros de marzo la laguna de Manjavacas, en la provincia de Cuenca, recibe la visita de la m\u00e1quina anfibia donde realizar\u00e1 unas siegas en los sectores de m\u00e1s profundida de este humedal.<\/p>\n<p>A continuaci\u00f3n, os presentamos reportaje fotogr\u00e1fico que sigue la secuencia cronol\u00f3gica desde que se inicia la corta de carrizo hasta que el subproducto llega
