Este estudio ha sido desarrollado por un equipo de investigadores europeos pertenecientes al grupo de trabajo de conservaci\u00f3n del carricer\u00edn cejudo, el Aquatic Warbler Conservation Team, grupo al que tambi\u00e9n pertenece el equipo t\u00e9cnico del proyecto LIFE Paludicola. Esta acci\u00f3n se enmarca dentro del proyecto LIFE MagniDucatusAcrola \u201cStepping stones towards ensuring long-term favorable conservation status of the Aquatic Warbler in Lithuania\u201d (LIFE15 NAT\/LT\/001024), financiado por el programa LIFE de la UE, el Ministerio de Medio Ambiente de Lituania y sus socios. Para m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n visitar la p\u00e1gina web del proyecto: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.meldine.lt\"><strong>www.meldine.lt<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Este nuevo trabajo cient\u00edfico vuelve a poner de manifiesto la gran importancia de la pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica en la migraci\u00f3n del carricer\u00edn cejudo. <\/strong>Se trata del tercer trabajo sobre el uso de geolocalizadores con esta especie globalmente amenazada. Los anteriores estudios tambi\u00e9n fueron liderados por los mismos investigadores y gracias a los datos de ocho geolocalizadores en adultos confirmaron un inicio de la migraci\u00f3n posnupcial hacia el suroeste y luego hacia el oeste a trav\u00e9s del Mediterr\u00e1neo septentrional europeo, y a la pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica como v\u00eda principal de paso entre Europa y \u00c1frica. En este trabajo se colocaron 60 geolocalizadores en julio de 2018 en dos poblaciones reproductoras en Lituania (Tyrai and Alka polder) y el norte de Bielorrusia (Servech). Se recuperaron 18 de ellos en 2019, que suponen el 30%, porcentaje mayor del esperado.<\/p>\n<p>El estudio afirma que <strong>la mayor\u00eda de los carricerines cejudos de Lituania y del norte de Bielorrusia est\u00e1n<\/strong> <strong>invernando en el Delta interior del N\u00edger: un gran complejo de lagos e islas en la \u00e1rida regi\u00f3n del Sahel, en el centro de Mal\u00ed, y sus alrededores<\/strong>. El trabajo tambi\u00e9n pone de manifiesto dos movimientos excepcionales de dos aves lituanas. A finales de julio, un ave realiz\u00f3 un movimiento dispersivo de 400 km hacia Bielorrusia antes de comenzar su migraci\u00f3n a \u00c1frica. Fuente: LIFE MagniDucatusAcrola.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>De este trabajo y estudios gen\u00e9ticos previos se desprende que los cejudos en primavera <strong>antes de llegar a las localidades de cr\u00eda las aves deambulan, vuelan distancias bastante largas y aparentemente visitando varios sitios alternativos.<\/strong> Los marcados l\u00f3gicamente volvieron al mismo lugar, pero otras bien pueden haber muerto o probablemente se quedaron en otros lugares durante el per\u00edodo de cr\u00eda donde nadie las estaba buscando.<\/p>\n<p>Estos vuelos de corta-media distancia como los de larga distancia de migraci\u00f3n pueden significar que <strong>el<\/strong> <strong>mayor problema de extinci\u00f3n del cejudo sigue siendo la falta de h\u00e1bitats adecuados tanto en algunas zonas de cr\u00eda como de migraci\u00f3n<\/strong>. El hecho es que las aves vuelan a trav\u00e9s de Europa muy r\u00e1pidamente durante la migraci\u00f3n de oto\u00f1o y solo hacen paradas m\u00e1s largas a mitad de camino en Espa\u00f1a o Francia. Esto muestra o la falta de h\u00e1bitats adecuados en toda Europa o el hecho de que los cejudos son aves extremadamente resistentes que no necesitan paradas frecuentes. Fuente: LIFE MagniDucatusAcrola.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>A nivel de la pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica, del estudio se desprende la enorme importancia de los humedales ib\u00e9ricos para completar las migraciones anuales.<\/strong> As\u00ed, durante la migraci\u00f3n posnupcial, varias regiones de Espa\u00f1a y Portugal acogen la sedimentaci\u00f3n de buena parte de los cejudos estudiados y durante la migraci\u00f3n prenupcial es el norte de \u00c1frica y el suroeste ib\u00e9rico las principales \u00e1reas de sedimentaci\u00f3n.
