Durante dos a\u00f1os consecutivos, agricultores ecol\u00f3gicos de la Marjal dels Moros y del Prat de Cabanes -Torreblanca en la Comunidad Valenciana, han recibido parte del triturado de la biomasa segada en los humedales como abono para sus campos.<\/p>\n

Esta biomasa se obtiene de la siega con la maquina anfibia para adecuar el h\u00e1bitat del carricer\u00edn cejudo en los humedales. Una vez se siega el carrizo, se tritura y se deposita en los campos de cultivo cercanos a los humedales, \u00e9sta se extiende y se cubre con una capa de gallinaza para facilitar su proceso de compostaje. Esta mezcla, se deja reposar hasta la temporada siguiente de siembra. En la Marjal dels Moros (Valencia), estas parcelas van rotando a\u00f1o tras a\u00f1o, as\u00ed, mientras unas parcelas est\u00e1n en producci\u00f3n, la parcela que se encuentra con el compostaje, sirve de zona de alimentaci\u00f3n para aves que son atra\u00eddas por los insectos asociados a los procesos de compostaje.<\/p>\n

La agricultura llevada a cabo por agricultores particulares en Torreblanca y por La Uni\u00f3 de llauradors i ramaders <\/strong><\/a>en unas parcelas cedidas por la Conseller\u00eda en la Marjal dels Moros, se hace en ecol\u00f3gico y la producci\u00f3n se distribuye en mercados de cercan\u00eda.<\/p>\n

El caso de La UNI\u00d3 es bastante llamativo. Cultivan desde hace m\u00e1s de diez a\u00f1os una extensi\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 100 hanegadas en la Marjal del Moro -entre Pu\u00e7ol y Sagunt- fundamentalmente con verduras ecol\u00f3gicas, y la producci\u00f3n de las mismas se distribuye en dos tiendas de Valencia llamadas \u201cPunt de Sabor\u201d. Este establecimiento impulsado por la organizaci\u00f3n agraria fue el primer paso de un ambicioso proyecto de cultivo, venta y distribuci\u00f3n de frutas y verduras ecol\u00f3gicas certificadas de proximidad y otros productos elaborados. A la tienda f\u00edsica se le sum\u00f3 posteriormente una tienda online, www.puntdesabor.com<\/a>, con la mayor referencia de productos ecol\u00f3gicos del mercado que permite recoger el pedido en el propio domicilio o en un punto de distribuci\u00f3n. Sirve ya productos a toda Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n

En esos comercios, se han colocado unos carteles informando sobre el proyecto LIFE Paludicola y los beneficios de las siegas mec\u00e1nicas gracias a la colaboraci\u00f3n que existe entre la UNI\u00d3 y el proyecto LIFE Paludicola.<\/p>\n
