El d\u00eda 9 del pasado mes de abril el equipo Fundaci\u00f3n Global Nature\/LIFE Paludicola llev\u00f3 a cabo una actividad de educaci\u00f3n y formaci\u00f3n ambiental con la Universidad de Le\u00f3n<\/strong>. Los alumnos y profesores de la clase de conservaci\u00f3n de ecosistemas impartida all\u00ed como parte del cuarto curso del grado en biolog\u00eda visitaron Boada de Campos, dentro de una de sus jornadas de campo.<\/p>\n

Esta actividad represent\u00f3 la relevancia de los proyectos de Fundaci\u00f3n Global Nature (FGN) en Castilla y Le\u00f3n, utilizando fundamentalmente las acciones tomadas por el LIFE Paludicola como importantes ejemplos sobre gesti\u00f3n y conservaci\u00f3n de h\u00e1bitats, con un n\u00famero de 37 personas. La visita se llev\u00f3 a cabo entre la Casa-Museo y la laguna de Boada de Campos<\/strong>, gestionadas por la FGN gracias a un acuerdo entre el Ayuntamiento de Boada de Campos y la Diputaci\u00f3n de Palencia.<\/p>\n

Se centr\u00f3 en la gesti\u00f3n integral que se realiza en este humedal del espacio natural ZEPA La Nava-Campos Sur, perteneciente a la Red Natura 2000, donde se hizo hincapi\u00e9 en la gesti\u00f3n de la laguna, como el control de la vegetaci\u00f3n y su gesti\u00f3n h\u00eddrica, que revierte en la conservaci\u00f3n de distintas especies, en especial del globalmente amenazado carricer\u00edn cejudo. Adem\u00e1s, se repasaron otras actuaciones de conservaci\u00f3n llevadas a cabo por FGN en la zona de Tierra de Campos, actualmente y desde hace d\u00e9cadas. Se discutieron tambi\u00e9n diferentes puntos de vista, problem\u00e1ticas generales que aparecen durante la ejecuci\u00f3n de las acciones, y la inclusi\u00f3n laboral en una organizaci\u00f3n como una fundaci\u00f3n de protecci\u00f3n del medio ambiente.<\/p>\n

Esta actividad, de gran relevancia en la formaci\u00f3n ambiental de la futura generaci\u00f3n, se enmarca dentro de la Acci\u00f3n E2 del proyecto LIFE, denominada \u201cCampa\u00f1a de sensibilizaci\u00f3n local y escolar\u201d.<\/p>\n
