You may click the link to switch the active language.<\/p><p>El humedal conocido como Las Tablas de Daimiel fue declarado Parque Nacional en el a\u00f1o\u00a0<strong>1973<\/strong>, Reserva de la Biosfera en el 1981 e incluido dentro del Convenio Ramsar en el a\u00f1o 1982. Se trata del\u00a0<strong>\u00faltimo representante<\/strong>\u00a0de un ecosistema denominado\u00a0<strong>tablas fluviales<\/strong>, que es una formaci\u00f3n que se produce por el desbordamiento de los r\u00edos Guadiana y Gig\u00fcela, favorecido por la escasez de pendiente en el terreno. Con su declaraci\u00f3n como Parque Nacional se dio un gran paso en la conservaci\u00f3n de uno de los\u00a0<strong>ecosistemas m\u00e1s valiosos de nuestro planeta<\/strong>, asegurando as\u00ed, la supervivencia de la avifauna que utiliza estas zonas como \u00e1rea de invernada, mancada y nidificaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>La flora en Las Tablas de Daimiel est\u00e1 adaptada a un\u00a0<strong>clima extremo<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>suelos turbosos<\/strong>\u00a0y\u00a0<strong>limosos<\/strong>\u00a0y\u00a0<strong>aguas estaci\u00f3nales<\/strong>\u00a0y de\u00a0<strong>condici\u00f3n salina<\/strong>, sin embargo, el entorno de Las Tablas ha ido cambiando a lo largo de los \u00faltimos 50 a\u00f1os debido al desarrollo agr\u00edcola y econ\u00f3mico de la comarca. Este desarrollo ha afectado al acu\u00edfero del que se alimentan Las Tablas, generando periodos de sequ\u00eda m\u00e1s prolongados. Y, esto sumado a un estado de cambio clim\u00e1tico en el que el volumen de precipitaciones ha descendido notablemente, el Parque ve como poco a poco el agua va desapareciendo de su superficie. A d\u00eda de hoy, Las Tablas tienen encharcadas 450 hect\u00e1reas de las 1.850 que son posibles.<\/p>\n<p>Esta desecaci\u00f3n favorece que las eneas (<em>Typha<\/em> sp.) avancen de forma r\u00e1pida, ocupando el lecho de Las Tablas, y esta ocupaci\u00f3n hace que l\u00e1minas de aguas libres de vegetaci\u00f3n, se conviertan en eneales pr\u00e1cticamente imposibles de gestionar. Adem\u00e1s, la vegetaci\u00f3n en estas zonas h\u00famedas inundadas no tiene control actualmente debido a que los herb\u00edvoros silvestres han desaparecido de la zona y los ganaderos han estabulados sus animales, por lo que no hay un freno natural que ralentice su avance.<\/p>\n<p>La <strong>Fundaci\u00f3n Global Nature compr\u00f3 en 2017 una maquina segadora anfibia, por medio del proyecto LIFE Paludicola<\/strong>, con la que ha realizado trabajos de siegas en diferentes humedales de la Comunidad Valenciana, dado que no se pod\u00edan realizar con otro tipo de maquinaria local. Esta segadora es una maquina profesional de apenas 1.400 kg de peso, 4\u20197 metros de largo por 2 de ancho y 2,1 de alto, dotada de un sistema de desplazamiento mediante orugas de caucho que no da\u00f1an la superficie del suelo cuando circula fuera del agua.
