Town Council of Torreblanca

Torreblanca is a small coastal town in the province of Castellón, whose council invests great efforts and enthusiasm in the conservation and recovery of its natural heritage.

The Torreblanca seaboard has chosen to promote a protected environment, rejecting the over-exploitation model visible at other neighbouring seaside areas.

The ensuing tourist development, adopting a responsible attitude and coherent with the protection of natural landscapes, is currently exploring new land uses that are sustainable and compatible with preserving the natural environment. Wetland management, ecological agriculture and bird-watching tourism are some examples.
