On the 8th and 10th of June 2018, the LIFE Paludicola project was present in one of the most important nature observation fairs in Spain, the MADbird Fair 2018, V Feria Internacional de Observación de la Naturaleza de Madrid.
The objective of this edition is to get closer to the nature observation tourism, allowing us to get to know the national and international flora and fauna through different initiatives, and at the same time reclaiming this type of tourism as a respectful and professional element, capable of producing economic resources in the territories, with great possibilities in the future.
The project has been disseminated through the information point of the Agència Valenciana del Turisme de la Comunidad Valenciana. On Satuday June 9th, members of the technical team made an informational presentation about the project, the aquatic warbler, and its conservation.
This type of conservation projects is of great interest to observers of nature and ecotourists, since they provide an added value to nature tourism destinations, with a clear commitment to the development of sustainable tourism.
