A conference cycle about emblematic l’Albufera wildlife during which the LIFE Paludicola project was presented was held from October 6 to 8, coinciding with World Bird Day.
On Saturday October 7th, Antonio Guillem, technician of the project, provided details about LIFE Paludicola to those present at the Racó de l´olla interpretation center. The project which is subsidized by the European Union aims to recover migratory aquatic warbler populations and their habitats in the Iberian Peninsula.
The objective of these conferences is for organizations, companies, and administrations associated with the conservation of nature and ornithological tourism in l’Albufera (Fundación Global Nature among them) to spend a weekend disseminating the value and diversity of birds in this wetland, and show the work that so many people carry out for their conservation.
