VISIT FROM THE EXTERNAL MONITOR OF NEEMO TO THE LIFE PALUDICOLA PROJECT

On May 10, the monitor Ainhoa Darquistade, representative of the Equipo Externo NEEMO, visited the LIFE Paludicola project. The meeting which took place in Fuentes de Nava (Palencia) hosted representatives from the two beneficiary entities of the project (Fundación Global Nature and the Junta de Castilla y León).

The visit consisted of three parts: presentation of the project’s evolution to observe the development of the actions taken as well as the main results obtained to date, revision of administrative and technical documentation, and lastly a visit to the project site in Tierra de Campos (Palencia) (Laguna de La Nava de Fuentes, Laguna de Pedraza, and Laguna de Boada de Campos) where the conservation measures to be carried out in 2018 were explained in situ.
