Up until 15 March, the amphibious machine has been mowing in the Marjal de Pego-Oliva Natural Park. These works have opened clearings in the reed beds to encourage the diversification of this wetland ecosystem.
Only the central spaces in some of the meadows have been mown, leaving a band of vegetation on the edges of each lagoon to ensure that the conditions required by the aquatic warbler and other water and marsh birds endure.
